Portland is located on the Highland Rim in extreme northern Middle Tennessee. This region has always been known for excellent agricultural soils, a spectacular wildlife environment and an enjoyable climate.  Portland is the strawberry capital of Middle Tennessee and known for its yearly Strawberry Festival downtown.  This became our home after we lost our home of 23 yrs to a fire in 2015 and we love our neighborhood called Dogwood Springs.  It’s close to the interstate, 109 & the bypass so that makes it easy to get to the neighboring cities quicker.  This is in Sumner County and not too far from Gallatin, Cottontown, White House and Kentucky.
