Hendersonville is known as the City by the Lake. This is where we love to go boating and keep our boat at Drakes Creek Marina. Hendersonville has so many subdivisions, communities and things to do, including the streets of Indian Lake for shopping & dining out with the family. Park in the square and walk to the restaurant of your choice, go shopping or to the movies or go out boating for the day and dock to eat on the water. It is still a growing community and ever changing, with so much to do so you would never need to leave the area.
Hendersonville is the largest city in Sumner County on Old Hickory Lake. It was home to country music singers, Johnny & June Carter Cash, for whom the city’s main road, Johnny Cash Parkway, was named after. Also, Conway Twitty’s home was turned into what is now Trinity Music City.
