Audra's Healthy Turkey Chili

 

1 lb. Ground Turkey (or if you prefer ground beef or chicken)
1 Onion
2-3 Garlic Cloves
3 Stalks Organic Celery
2 TBS Chili Powder or Taco Seasoning
1/2 Cup Organic Ketchup
2 Cups Filtered Water
4-6 Lg Cans Organic Kidney Beans or I buy them in the bag and cook them for hours
Your Favorite Hot Sauce – Optional

Note: I used organic ingredients but you can use whatever you like!  Add a little Cilantro to the recipe!

Brown Ground Turkey (I use the same pot I will be cooking chili in to cook the meat first…less mess to clean up too) unless I am cooking the Kidney Beans myself instead of using canned beans.  Then, I will cook both in separate pans and then once they are done combine and cook for another hour.  Chop up fresh Garlic Cloves, Onion & Celery…add to meat. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add Chili Powder or Taco Season, Ketchup, Water & Beans. Cook for about an hour. Add your favorite spices & Hot Sauce!!!! Enjoy! icon wink Audras Yummy Turkey Chili

You can also top with Horizon Shredded Cheese & Sour Cream!

You can double the recipe to cook for more people or to eat for a few days. It always tastes great as left overs.
